Bike Safe Southington is a free, fun bicycle safety event for children age 5 to 12.

• Bicycle education course run by certified League of American Bicyclists Instructors
• Bicycle safety check
• Helmet decorating
• Snacks and more

Bring your bicycle or borrow one from Bike Walk Connecticut.
Bring your helmet. Under CT State Law, anyone under the age of 16 is required to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. Learn more about bike safety and laws.
All education course participants must attend with and have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian. You can print out this form waiver now and fill it out at home so you can save time at the check-in line.
