A Workshop Inspired by the World Famous Book by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish
Presented by Shannon Knudsen, Director Village Green Nursery School and co-hosted by the Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington.

Learn how to: 

  • Engage your child’s willing cooperation
  • Deal with your child’s negative feelings-frustration, anger
  • Express your anger without being hurtful 
  • Set firm limits and still maintain goodwill 
  • Use alternatives to punishment that promote self-discipline
  • Encourage positive relationships between your children 
  • Resolve family conflicts peacefully

Location: Memorial Hall at First Congregational Church. Enter via the ground level floor at the back of the church parking lot. Parking is available in the municipal lot to the left of the church.

Pizza and beverages will be served.
No childcare is available.
