Kindergarten Information Session 2023

The Southington Public School System is holding a Kindergarten Information Session on Monday, January 30th at 6 pm, in-person at DePaolo Middle School. Snow date is February 6th.

Parents/guardians from across Southington, Plantsville, Marion, and Milldale, regardless of which elementary school their students will attend, are invited to this in-person session to hear about kindergarten and how registration works.

Registration starts at 5:30 pm and the presentation will begin at 6 pm. There is no advance sign-up.

The ECCS will have an information table.

This is the first step in the process of signing up your student for school in the SPS system.  Online registration will open in February or March.  

If your child is five years old on or before January 1, 2024, and a town resident, he or she is eligible to enter kindergarten in the Southington Public School system in the fall of 2023.
