Registration: Pre-K & Kindergarten

For fall of 2024, the preschools in town began accepting registrations in early January. The Southington Public School District is holding screening evaluations for preK4 students with fall birthdays in January and will hold the Kindergarten Information Session and open registration in March. Mental Health

Mental health is just as important as physical health to a child’s well-being. Scientific research has shown that a child’s early experiences—whether good or bad —affect the development of children’s brains and their life-long health. Even very young children can experience childhood trauma or mental health issues and it is better to identify and address any issues early.
